Akira’s Career Summary
I was born in Onomichi, Hiroshima Prefecture.
I fell in love with Go when my parents gave me a board game set for my 7th birthday.
I trained at a local volunteer-run Go club, where I developed my skills and achieved the accomplishments listed below.
I later enrolled in a university known for its strong Go program.
Although I initially struggled with the high level of competition, I kept working hard and eventually placed 4th nationwide in the Women’s Student Honinbo Championship.
After graduating, I worked at a company, and in September 2024 I moved to Germany for work.
